DAY - 1
Location: Cochin – Kumarakom
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kumarakom (91km- 1: 50 hrs) the backwater destinations of Kerala. Arrive and check in to hotel, and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. 3 hours house boat journey. On the way you have to see the kumarakom bird sanctuary area and then backwaters with village area.
DAY - 2
Location: Kumarakom- Thekkady
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady (120 km / 3.30-4 hrs.) which is also known as Periyar. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute see Gap Road, view Point, Anayirangal Dam, Spice Plantations etc. At Thekkady enjoys a boating (on own – costs around 150 per person) at manmade lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wild life at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. Evening free for shopping.
Optional activities at Thekkady : Spice Plantation tour, Ayurveda Massage, Martial Arts Kalaripayattu Show, Kathakali show, Elephant ride etc.( at own cost)

DAY- 3
Location: Thekkady- munnar
Our representative will meet you and explain the tour to you and later drive to Munnar (approx. 83 KM / 1.30 hrs). Munnar is one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 metres above the sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. Enroute see Cheeyappara, Valara waterfalls, Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations.
Arrive and check into the hotel, rest of the day at Leisure.
DAY- 4
Location : Munnar
After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Afternoon visit Mattupetty dam, Echo point and Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. While coming back visit flower garden. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel
Optional Activities at Munnar : Motor boat or speedboat ride at Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Elephant Safari, Horse ride at Kundala, Trekking, Ayurveda Massage etc.( own cost)
Shopping : Tea, coffee, Spices
DAY-5
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart to Cochin to get the flight for your onward journey.
